The Payments Association EU invites you to a Regulator Working Group featuring Suzanne Weber, Deputy head - Innovation, Payments, Market infrastructures and Governance Department at the CSSF.

Luxembourg is at the crossroads of finance, innovation, and regulation. In this session and under the moderation of Zoé Wagner, Attorney at Schiltz & Schiltz, Suzanne Weber will share insights on key findings raised in:

  • The prudential supervision of payment and e-money institutions
  • The forthcoming prudential priorities and projects.

In the second part of the session, we will explore the following points from our members:

  • The state of Luxembourg as a fintech & crypto destination
  • Regulatory priorities: What the CSSF wants firms to focus on
  • MiCAR readiness & licensing landscape for crypto firms
  • DORA compliance: risks, gaps & supervisory approach
  • Instant payments, payee verification & central bank safeguarding

Our Regulator Working Groups are monthly online 1h meetings, where our members come together and discuss the key issues inherent to the regulation of our payment industry in Europe, as well as the evolution of our industry in general.


Our objective in setting up this working group is to guarantee a "safe space" for our members' compliance officers who wish to discuss regulatory hot topics once a month under the "Chatham house" rule. The group regularly invites "special guests" such a key officials from the European Commission, local regulators or prominent actors of our industry. Among the topics discussed recently: the EU Digital financial strategy, PSD3, MiCA, Instant Payments, SPAA, CESOP…
