Marianne Demarchi
Chief Executive Europe, Middle East & Africa
Marianne Demarchi has more than 25 years' experience in financial and banking services in fintech, as well as in major international groups. She has had increasing responsibilities in business development, digital transformation, and company management.
In 2022, she joined Swift as Head of European Strategic Accounts and was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Europe as of December 2022, covering Business Development across the region. In January 2024, she expanded her role to cover the Middle East and Africa.
From 2017 to 2021, Marianne was COO and member of the Board of Monext, a Payments Fintech, subsidiary of Credit Mutuel Arkea Bank. Other previous roles have included Deputy Head of Marketing at BNPP Asset Management, then Global Head of Sales and Strategic Partnerships, member of the Distribution Executive Committee (from 2008 to 2021), and various positions at Euronext for 15 years, supporting the transformation of the Paris stock exchange into a pan-European stock exchange.
Marianne Demarchi holds a PhD in Finance, a business master's degree from HEC Business School, and a Harvard certificate in Fintech. She is a certified independent Board member.
